February 25, 2011, Muncie IN — Emergence: Personal Foundations of Effective Leadership is an eight-week interactive leadership training program that seeks to develop and enhance the individual leadership abilities of emerging and experienced leaders. Participants receive over 30 hours of professional training on leadership styles, consensus building, developing teams, conflict management, communicating with confidence, building trust, and personal mission.

Emergence begins with a day-long session to foster teambuilding, where participants learn about various learning and leadership styles. Weeks later, Emergence concludes with an all day session in which participants develop personal leadership action plans and build a strategy for applying what they’ve learned throughout the course. The six sessions in the middle run from 5:00-8:00 pm and focus on specific leadership skills valuable in any environment.

Emergence is ideal for emerging leaders or those looking to enhance their current leadership abilities. Standard individual tuition is $700.00. Through the help of scholarship partners, LEAD-ECI is able to offer discounted tuition of $350.00 for employees of non-profit organizations with fewer than 50 employees.
