Muncie Young Professionals does not hold regular monthly meetings like other community organizations.
Instead, we connect with our members at events.

Check if an upcoming event fits into your schedule and join us!  Or, read about what we offer and plan to join us in the future.

Our annual meeting is open and free to current and prospective members.  We hope you’ll join us to recap the past year and hear our exciting plans for the future.

MYP members will also have the opportunity to hear from candidates for open Executive Board positions. And you’ll vote on your choices.   (Members who cannot make the meeting will be emailed a link to vote online. People who choose to become members at the annual meeting will also be given the opportunity to vote).

You can let us know you’re coming by RSVPing on Facebook.

Regular Professional Events

MYP@6 is usually held every other month.  Each session offers young professionals hands-on learning experiences and skills-building.  We also offer networking time to get to know fellow members and guests.  Usually, we charge a small $5 fee to attend, to cover snacks and location costs.

MYP@Lunch is held every other month at various local restaurants in the community.  This is a casual networking lunch with fellow members and community leaders.  It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with new people!  The only cost to you is the food you purchase for yourself.

Experimenting with Social Events

MYP is trying new social meet-ups and social networking events in 2017 and 2018 to see what fits best for members.

Our meet-ups at local restaurants and bars are great ways to meet other members, network, and introduce friends to MYP.  If you’re a prospective member that wants to find out more, come find us at social events!

Keep checking back here or follow us on Facebook for the latest social events.

MYP also offers different occasional volunteer opportunities and connects members to other nonprofits in the community that seek volunteers and/or board members.
