What: WIBP-TV’s Spring Telesale
Who: YOU and other MYPs volunteering to answer phones during WIPB’s on-air auction. It’s fast-paced, fun and entertaining, and all of the money WIPB raises goes to support programming on your local PBS station.
When: Friday, April 22. Two shifts are available: 6:00-8:00 p.m. and 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Where: WIPB Studios in the Ball Communication Building at Ball State University
A few notes: Don’t wear green! The event uses green screen technology. If you wear green you will be disembodied on air, which could be kinda fun, but you don’t want to freak out the viewers and bidders. Volunteers will park on the first level of the McKinley parking garage (corner of McKinley and Riverside). Appetizers, dinner, and desserts will be served at various times throughout the evening and a great time will be had by all!
